Vehicle & Tyre Trouble (see web reports for more details)

LPG/Petrol switching problem – turned up a number of problems but repaired
Front axle housing leaking oil – Radius Arm bracket cracked – weld repair
Shock Absorber failed – replaced with spare
UHF aerial failed – rewired & OK
Spear Grass seed – had to keep an eye on underneath of vehicles
1 x tubed radial tyre – sidewall stake - repaired
1 x tubeless radial – tiny sidewall stake – repaired
1 x tubed radial tyre – old tyre patch failed – repaired with new patch

Wildlife

Camels – 6 approx
March Flies - lots
Dingos
Western Grey Roos
Sleepy Lizards, Bluetongues, various Skinks, various Dragons

Birds Noticed

Just the ones I noted in my daily log, not a full list by any means

Zebra Finches, Yellow Chats, Crows, Magpies, Mynas, Tawny Frogmouths (chorus of them many nights), Wedge Tailed Eagles, Nankeen Kestrels, Major Mitchell Cockatoos, Galahs, Bronzewing Pigeons, Wattlebirds, Kurrawongs, Grey Kurrawongs, Pied Oystercatcher

Water

Rockholes, gnammas & waterholes had good water levels mostly. Much of the country was in very fine fettle with very high rainfall figures for the winter and previous summer.
