Vehicle Trouble
8 x tubeless radial punctures – various sidewall & shoulder stakes – all repaired
2nd battery relay failed – replaced with spare
Engine Warning Light – reset but remained intermittent, no visible problem
A/C idler pulley failed – replaced with spare
Flat batteries – jump started
Engine Fusible Link failed – replaced with spare
Broken front leaf spring – safety leaf held broken main leaf, couldn’t do much
Wildlife
Camels – 127 approx
Dingos – 3 seen & more heard during evenings & mornings
Wallaroos, Thorny Devils, Red Roos
Birds Noticed (I'm not really a dedicated "birdo")
Red Tailed Black Cockatoos, Pheasant Coucal, Painted Finches, Kingfisher, Black Fronted Dotterel, Ducks, Teal, Chestnut Rumped Thornbill, Brown Songlark, Spotted Harrier, Whistling Kite, Black Honeyeater, Pied Honeyeater, Bustards x 7, Ringneck Parrots, Budgies, Cockatiels, Crows, Pied Butcherbirds, Grey Butcherbird, White Backed Magpies, Wedge Tailed Eagles, Black Faced Cuckoo-Shrikes, Richards Pipits, Galahs, Brown Falcon, Nankeen Kestrel, Black Shouldered Kite, Woodswallows, Inland Dotterels, White Browed Babblers, Crested Bellbirds, Singing Honeyeater, White Winged Triller, Magpie Larks, Zebra Finches, Top Knot Pigeons, Corellas, Brolgas

Rockholes, gnammas & waterholes had varying water levels, it seemed as though the more recent rainfall had been patchy.
Gulvida Creek & Soak had water in pools
Well 49 – good water

Gravity Lakes – probably 2/3 full
Well 41 – OK water but a bit coloured
Well 39 – water available
Well 36 – OK water (heard later that a camel fell in but was lifted out)
Rockhole 38 – good water but only half full
Well 33 – Windmill head removed for repair, tanks almost empty
Well 26 – OK water but a bit coloured
Well 24 – full and overflowing from spring
Georgia Bore – in good nick and water good
Durba Gorge – good amount of water in pools, plenty good water upstream

Windich Springs – plenty water

North Pool – plenty water
**good water means usable, most folks would probably want to boil it though.
