Constant 4WD came onto the scene in 1970 with the first Range Rover. With the obvious push for safety and handling in 4WDs over the past few years why don't more of the current 4WD vehicles have it?
From my experience it can't be fuel economy, as having completed approx 750,000kms in Constant 4WD vehicles over the last 12 years I have a fair idea that Constant 4WD does not use more fuel.
